Mother's Day Midweek Post Week 9 - Outstanding Women - The Countdown Crew

As the Mother's Day Countdown 2023 closes, the outstanding women (and one guy) I'd like to feature this week are the people behind the keyboards sharing, commenting, re-sharing, and promoting the handmade gift ideas for Mom that we've created.

Without the commitments of these women, there would be no countdown and no chance for anyone to see and purchase some fantastic artisan handmade gifts for Mother's Day.

Here is the last midweek post for 2023 and my featured women for the midweek post 9 are, The Countdown Crew:

Joanne Joanne Carey

Florida photographer who has discovered her favorite place is behind the lens of her camera capturing the brilliant colors and exotic wildlife that call Florida home. Joanne loves color and wildlife, and she chooses many flowers and water birds as her topics. Her work is available on many gifts like posters, pillows, wall prints, and more.

Raccoon Throw Pillow

Linda Victorian Style Treasures

To say that Linda designs her jewelry based on the inspiration of the Victorian era is an understatement. She incorporates the flower motif and metalwork that is commonly seen in the jewelry that Prince Albert had designed for his beloved Victorian into her own designs. Linda takes great care to stay with the style while adding modern components like gemstones, Czech glass, lampwork beads, and enamel work.

Handmade Patina Copper Bronze Earrings with Czech and Swarovski Crystals

Connie The Singing Beader

Connie is a talented musician, singer, and jewelry designer - hence the shop name, The Singing Beader. Her jewelry features a music theme in most cases, and she works in gemstones because she likes the colors and textures, but most of her jewelry is for the singer and musician. Does she sing when she beads? She says no, and she doesn't bead when she sings.

Microphone Lever Back Earrings With Engraved Word Sing On Heart Charm

Catherine Shadow Dog Designs

Catherine of Shadow Dog Design enjoys working in gemstones and artisan focal pieces, as well as fair trade beads and components. She is a self-described nature geek with nature as her muse, and she is inspired by the Southwest where she lives with her dog, Seamus who helps Harry and I get the posts to the other outstanding women every week. As a passionate pet rescue advocate, many of her jewelry designs offer proceeds to various rescue organizations.

Dog Mom Necklace, Heart Paw Print Opalite Turquoise Handmade Jewelry

Pam Magdalene Jewels

Pam loves to work with sparkly things like crystals, gemstones, seed beads, and sterling silver. Her jewelry is feminine and all of her pieces are one-of-a-kind jewelry that you won't find on anybody else. Her other passion is knitting baby clothes in her Magdalene Knits storefront.

Golden Topaz Earrings Crystals Teardrops

Linda Linor Store Designs

Linda of Linor Store Designs focuses on creating keepsake kippot and handmade jewelry celebrating the Jewish holidays. She wants to make your holiday special and memorable, and her jewelry reflects the spirit of the moment. Linda likes to work in color and one-of-a-kind designs. She is surrounded by helper cats that may or may not know how to bead.

Star of David Jewelry

Natalie Adore by Nat

Natalie and her husband, Mike, are the creative souls behind the fun, colorful, and zany designs from Adore by Nat. They believe in celebrating life, and that means everything's a party. What started as Natalie's small handmade card lineup has become a party decoration center that has the right design for all parties. There is no reason to buy mass produced party decorations when you can buy handmade from Nat and Mike.

Charlotte Covergirl Beads

Charlotte of Covergirl Beads is a torch artist working with raw glass until she has molded and whirled it into unique beads and focal beads for jewelry designers to incorporate into handmade jewelry. Charlotte lives outside of Houston, and she spends her free time raising radiant red poodles. You can find her puppies at Radiant Red Poodles.

Handmade Lampwork Glass Beads, Southwest Ivory Orange Blue Shiny

Roxanne WatercolorsNmore

Roxanne is also a Florida resident, so she's inspired by the color and architecture that is predominant in Florida. She began working in watercolors in 1979, and her artwork expresses her love of her surroundings. She also spends time making jewelry, and her late, beloved husband worked in wood making components that she uses in her jewelry in her ExoticWoodJewelryAnd shop.

If you have NOT done your Mother's Day shopping, you might still have time to get a handmade gift for Mom before the big day, but if not, then order now, and she'll have it soon enough.

    Happy Mother’s Day to all!
