Volume 22 Issue 2, February 2025
What's New in February?
Besides having some cold weather—for Florida, anyway—I’ve been busy planning for new flowers. I snagged a pot of daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, and crocus for the front porch. Those are my all time favorite flowers from “up north”, so it’s a pleasure to see them in a pot exploding with color. The next treasure was a container of red petunias that were sadly under watered. They are now bright and perky on the front porch. I will pick up my usual purple petunia hanging baskets this week.
In addition, the bird feeder has played host to a variety of northern birds we normally don’t see. There’s a titmouse that has decided that the best sunflower seeds are in my front yard, so that’s a pleasant surprise. There are two pairs of painted buntings now, and a vireo, yellow bellied sapsucker, and yellow rump warbler have been busy flitting about in my oak tree. It’s been a busy week in the yard.
In the meantime, all of the color has boosted my creativity, so look for all types of new products, prints, and goodies this month.
What’s New
Stickers! I finally got myself organized enough to make some handmade stickers, and now, I am experimenting with sizes and cuts. I haven't quite figured out my cutting machine yet, but that's okay. For now, here are some goodies for you.
Greeting Cards - Digital greeting cards have been added to my regular print cards, so you can download and print immediately rather than waiting on me to process the order.
Until next month,
Julie
Things to Look Forward To:
New Products:
Front License Plates: I have started designing my front license plates lineup.
Journals: I have many plans for different journals with prompts, so keep an eye out for those journals.
Notepads and Sticky Notes: I have some mockup designs for handmade notepads and sticky notes. At the moment, the products are in beta and I am still trying to work on the proper amount of glue, size, and print dimensions. They will happen, but they are happening slowly.
