About Julie of Blue Morning Expressions

Blue Morning Expressions was named for Blu who was our faithful bearded collie for 15 years.

My background is in writing and art, and I have combined the two loves to move Blue Morning Expressions into a place where I can create to my heart's content. Until 2024, Blue Morning Expressions was where I sold my polymer clay beads, jewelry, and other creations, but after 20 years, I changed my focus to my real love - taking photos and creating art.

I've had a wonderful journey with polymer clay that included writing for an international polymer magazine and gifting my creatings to actors, press, and worthy causes.My designs have been showcased at events like the Emmys, Golden Globes, and New York Fashion Week. I've d authored four books, including one on jewelry design, and my work has appeared in various magazines and won contests. Originally from Illinois, I now live in Florida, having previously spent time in Montana.
