I not only make I make polymer clay beads, I write about polymer clay beads.
I have been playing in polymer clay for over 10 years, and I love making jewelry as much as I love making beads. I love to create polymer clay canes and find kaleidoscope canes some of my favorite canes to create.
I have been a member of the International Polymer Clay Guild since 2005 and a Self-Representing Artist Jewelry Designer (SRAJD) for about as many years. In addition, I am a member of The Artisan Group where my designs have been presented to press members and celebrities at such events like the Primetime Emmys, the Golden Globes and New York Fashion Week, as well as to the stylists of such shows like The Voice, Hart of Dixie and 2 Broke Girls.
Currently, I write the jewelry bench column for The Polymer Arts magazine, as well as other articles.
My beads have been seen in Polymer Cafe, Beadstyle, Stringing and Beads 2011 and 2015. My jewelry designs and canes have been winners in Polymer Cafe contests.
I was born and raised in central Illinois and moved to the Space Coast of Florida in 1986. Recently, I spent three and a half years living outside of Yellowstone National Park where I did a lot of writing, designing and photography. I came back home to Florida and have been culling my photos for print work.
Even though I have a blog on here, most of my blogging has been done on my Blogger accounts, so if you want to follow my journey, learn to make beads, meet all my artisan friends or just see some great scenery, head over to my blogs:
