What's New in June?

Here we are already at the halfway point of the year and the beginning of the hurricane season. Heading into the doldrums of summer is never fun in the tropics, but there’s always the ocean to bob around in or the pool to nap in on a floatie. I have been busy working on putting together a hummingbird garden outside the back porch and some remodeling inside, so while I have lots of flowers, I don’t have any furniture. Interesting times!

Harry is turning 7 this month, so a big o’dog birthday party to him, and I’m sure he’ll get a pup cup or two. The monarchs have been very quiet this last month with only one caterpillar ambling along the leaves of the milkweed dodging wasps and other predators. He’s under a screen cover now, so I expect him or her to graduate with wings.

Been working on new license plates and lots and lots of flower cards. I am having a great time making, cutting, and packaging my cards. Over 500 cards went out of here in May, so I am very grateful to everyone.

Here are some flowers to enjoy while waiting on cooler temperatures. This is red salvia.

What’s New

Notecards: I got off my butt and created almost 50 new sets of notecards. I confess that I am a hoarder of graphics, so now, it's time to use them. They make great gift ideas for friends and family.

License Plates: As promised, I created a lot of new custom front license plates for a variety of interests.

Counted Cross Stitch Patterns: I have started putting my counted cross stitch patterns back online under the Blue Morning Expressions' umbrella.
