What's New in September?
Still hot, but we are starting to feel a hint of fall in the air. A rare hint, but sometimes, there are little pockets of cool air that spring up around the yard. While I wait for the fall and trick or treat season, the caterpillars have been having a heyday in the backyard.
This year we’ve seen more queen butterflies than I ever remember seeing before. That means we’ve had more queen eggs hatch and turn into butterflies. The last batch saw 8 new queens. Right now, I have 6 queen cats and 3 monarch cats in my little butterfly nursery.
The aphids have been bad this last few weeks, and I have been lax in getting rid of them, so most of my plants are home to squiggly little fat yellow suckers on the flowers. I will get them cleaned off, but in the meantime, the ladybugs are eating well.

What’s New
Sarcastic Mugs & Shirts: I don’t know why I woke up with a sarcastic response to everything the other day, but I channeled the remarks into coffee mugs, t-shirts, and sweatshirts.
Journals: I have a few designed and more on the desktop. I did two gardener specific journals; one with prompts and one with gratitude quotes. The dragonfly journal is blank inside, and the glimmer journal offers a place to write down your glimmers.
Halloween Trick or Treat Bags: Yes, there are now a dozen trick or treat bags in the shop with matching shirts on the horizon.

Countdown to Christmas 2024
