Volume 20 Issue 1, January 2023
What's New in January
December ended quietly without much fanfare. As the year ended, I realized that I had not created some of the projects that I had intended. This was primarily due to hand surgery, but the rest was settling in to my new freelance work environment. I was so worried about missing deadlines that I didn’t let myself wander off at all.
The upside to that type of work schedule did result in another book in my music trivia series and the first draft of my second book in a series that fits into the cozy mystery format. I am redoing the first book, so that could all change along the way.
January should prove to be more creative since I am more comfortable with taking time off and still getting my work done, plus I am tearing down my office/workspace/front bedroom to get more organized. I have way more supplies than I can ever use in my life, so I will need to do some destash sales on Facebook. Otherwise, maybe I will get some beads done.
While you wait, here’s a photo of my lovely Christmas cactus in bloom.
