What's New in June
The start of the 2023 Hurricane Season is upon us, and we’ve already had a tiny disturbance off the coast that brought us some windy days and nights. Lots of dry air in place for the moment, so it’s been great to be outside in the Florida sun. Perfect beach weather, and all of our snowbirds have flown north for the summer. It’s always nice when the roads are clear and no one is in line at the grocery store. We live for the lull.
Around here, it’s been lots of flower gardening, trying to raise monarch butterflies, keeping up with weeding, and fighting off the mosquitoes.
Not much is being done in BME this month; although, I did put up one t-shirt with flamingoes on it. I’ve been busy writing and filling thimble and keychain orders from Amazon. Oh, and the baseball pushpins are now back in vogue since summer is here.
