Volume 20 Issue 4, April 2023
What's New in April
Spring is here. Lots of sunshine, and with it comes an explosion of color as the flowers really kick it in high gear. I have the urge to plant lots of beautiful colorful plants, but want to wait a little bit longer. We’ve been light on the rain, but did get a good soaking the other night that made everything perk up.
My garden is coming along, but I had to replant radishes, peas and spinach when things didn’t produce as they should have. Now, I am watching my beads get flowers, develop beans and then fall off. As a novice gardener, I have no idea what I need to do, but Google is my friend. Until then, I am pretty good at raising Monarchs and green peppers. Both are favorites, so I can’t complain about my bean experiments.
March was busy for me as I started working on more design ideas and prints.
Here are my beans in bloom.
