What's New in February
January flew by! Between breaking down the old business and gearing up for a new line of products, I lost track of time. I have lots of supplies and inventory that will be going up for sale in bulk sometime in the next week—I hope. It’s all to make room and time for a new direction.
The weather has been cold this last few weeks, and by cold, I mean in the 60s and 40s at night. Those are ideal temperatures for anyone who is a full-time Florida resident and something I look forward to each year. It won’t last, but it has helped the azaleas and bush daisies to start blooming, so there’s a riot of pink and yellow outside the window right now.
I’ve been working on restocking my milkweed for my constant supply of monarchs as they flit about the remaining plants. The last of my butterflies flew away a few weeks ago, and they left the milkweed looking like sticks. Apparently, they can smell milkweed two miles away according to a documentary I saw the other day.
As I was changing out my product lines, I discovered that I would keep the thimbles, pushpins, magnets, and keychains in stock. I like making them, and people like buying them.
Oh, and I opened a new store. The Hairy Dog Store for our Little Harry.
What’s New
Most of my new products are personalized, which everyone seems to love!
Gifts for Gardeners: Since I love flowers, birds, bees, and all things garden, this seems to be the biggest category of things I designed this month. It might be because there is so much color outside my window right now.
Gifts for Grandmas: As a new and first time Grandma, I’ve created some very neat Grandma art for all of you Grandmas out there.
Gifts for Writers: Inspirational sweatshirts, notebooks, posters, and coffee mugs to get your creativity started.
